Ever since my good friends Leah and Alex told me about one of their favorite HBO series, Game of Thrones, over dinner, I was hooked. I couldn’t stop watching the show until I finished the entire season – all 9 episodes. The cinematography was exceptional. The plots, riveting. The effects, phenomenal. So it wasn’t a surprise that I got extremely excited when I stumbled upon this video of the digital composites that the directors (there were many different ones per episode) created with the special effects team.
Season 2 in the spring of 2012 can’t come soon enough.
“Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night’s Watch, for this night and all the nights to come”.

Hi Rikki,
That is a terrific video of ‘Game of Thrones’. The CGI is amazing. Such a great show can’t wait for Season 2. Glad to hear you enjoyed the show. Are we all going to Comic-Con 2012 next year to see ‘Game of Thrones’?
Take care,
Leah
