Tim and Vlatka

Can I just say that I love weddings. I love them even more when it’s my friends are the ones that are getting married. True to the nature of Vlatka’s background in architecture and design, it’s no surprise that they chose to exchange their vows at the Rotunda at City Hall designed by renowned architect Richard Meier . It was a very beautiful and intimate ceremony shared in the presence of family and close friends.

I think the best part of the evening was the speech Vlatka’s dad delivered. “Tonight I give away my last diamond”, he said as he offered a toast in honor of the newly weds. After his speech, he shared his gift to Vlatka, a gold coin made into a necklace that belonged to her great grandmother and dated back to 1911.

Čestitamo!

The booth was there to capture it all. We even created custom speech bubbles at the bride’s request. Needless to say, everyone had a great time. At one point in the evening, a few guests asked what “VT” meant. At first we thought it stood for “Vlatka and Tim”. Little did we know, it meant Volim Te which is I Love You in Croatian!
