Every now and then, people ask me the same question regarding my photos. What software did you use to “fix” them. Technically, the term should really be post processing and not fixing. I use a combination of two software programs from Adobe. I use Lightroom 2.0 and Photoshop CS3.
I have to admit that Lightroom is “just what the doctor ordered”. The modules are fairly easy to learn. There’s even customization of the palette to make it look your own. As you can see in the image I’ve attached, the name plate contains my logo and the colors associated with the modules are according to my site colors.
My workflow in Lightroom has been extremely efficient. I post process one image and as long as the other images I would like to process are within the same range of the camera settings, I can simply “copy” the develop settings from one and “paste” them on the other. A set of 100 shots for instance, would normally take me hours to post process. With Lightroom, I can cut that in just under an hour.
